HE IS RISEN!

Halleluja, Jesus is risen indeed. Today is by far the most important of the Christian holidays, because it gives us hope. And in this worrisome, hard world, hope is in short supply. Just turn on the television and you have meaness, sarcasm, pain, anger, crime, hate, and murder. And that's just prime time, the daily news is worse, with worldwide wars, earthquakes, and famine. But that is NOT how God created this world or his children, but his children chose to disobey Him. Now people don't like the word disobey because it smacks of loss of personal rights. And it is a loss of our rights, our right to pain, hurt, and anger. But Gods ways are not our ways, and His desire for our lives is soooo much better than we could ever imagine. And it is all because of love, God's love for us. The word tells us that God is love, and He loves us so much that He sent His only Son to be our Redeemer. For free. All we have to do is accept and admit that our choices have caused us to sin (yes, I said it, SIN), but that Jesus CHOSE to come down from heaven, and go thru hell, so that we could be made sinless in God's eyes. And because we are now sinless, we can rest assured that we will spend eternity in heaven with Him. Yes, there is a heaven, and a hell. You don't have to beleive in either one, but you will choose where you will go after you die. Not choosing Christ, is choosing everlasting death. So choose Life, choose Love, choose Jesus. Amen.
