I sat, staring at my computer screen this morning, trying to figure out something to blog about, and I couldn't think of a thing. So I got up and went outside to let the chickens out. Then it hit me just how big they have gotten, so I grabbed my phone to take some pictures. Tonight I'm going to try and take a video of my ducks ( who thinks they are chickens) as they follow the chicks and climb into the coop and try to sit on the perch. They keep falling off and it is too funny.
The photos aren't the best, I used my phone, and they kept moving. lol But the are cute. :0)
Be blessed,
Debbi

They have gotten so big, cute!
They are getting big indeed! Makes me wanted start raising me some chickens :-)
Love the part about the ducks thinking they are chickens. Very funny lol...
Wow, they have gotten big, and so quickly!! It made me smile to read about the ducks thinking they are chickens, too funny! :)
Cute! I can't wait to see the ducks acting like chickens!! A case of mistaken identity for sure! We've got new kittens at our house -- it will be fun watching them grow!
I think it would be so fun to have chickens! If I ever have the chance to live out in the country, I definitely will...
I love chickens! And I love ducks. So I'd love to see pictures of your flock. Gaggle? Not sure of the proper term.
they do grow fast! right now we get about 4 eggs a day (several of my ladies have gotten too old to lay). with the new babies we should get around 13 every day. hubby sure is sick of eating eggs. hahaha

they are fun to watch, but messy! we don't go in the yard barefoot anymore. lol.
you're right. I try to get a video of them at night, but even with a flashlight, it doesn't record well.
they are funny...and I love cats, but hubby said no more animals! hahaha
I wouldn't trade my country life for anything. It's a pain when I run out of milk at 9pm, but it is peaceful and quiet. (if you don't mind the noise of frogs, cows, chickens, and 4 wheelers). :0)
I think your right with gaggle, but I just call them my girls. I love watching my ducks, they are not the brightest bulbs in the box. But their waddle makes me giggle.

Oh my, cant imagine living on a farm...am a city girl..but love to visit and have done so. Always took my kids so they can actually see that milk does not come from the store refrigerator....they come from cows. The ducks are the cutest....there is a petting zoo not too far from me and the grandkids get a kick out of feeding the goats from bottles and giving feed to lambs....thanks for sharing Debbi
Awww! There are so cute! The ducks must be a riot to watch! I love the old bicycle hanging on the outside wall. It look so cool hanging there.
