Yesterday we let the baby chicks out of the coop. They were very hesitant and ran back in as soon as the hens came to investigate. So today we left the hens in their coop and I left the door open for the babies while I filled their water. Once one came out, it didn't take long for the rest to follow. The old ladies aren't happy. They are hollering up a storm at not getting out.

Sometimes I missing having chickens running around the yard...especially when I see your photos!
Haha! Baby chicks are so cute!
A mother's instinct is never far away - if you're a chicken or a human! Nice photo too. Sending warm wishes (computer problems are beginning to ease, so hope to be back blogging again soon!)
Have a great week-end. Isobel: www.ColdhamCuddliescalling.blogspot.com
