Hannah's new hair

We were a little bored earlier in the week so Hannah begged to get her hair highlighted.  Here is the before...

When Hannah first moved in with us, her hair was blonde, but it has darkened up over the years.

As you can see, she is "enjoying" the cap part of the process.  Actually, try as I might, I could not get her hair to come out of those stupid little holes, so we just decided to streak her hair without the cap.

After a few trials of separating her hair into sections, I just started glopping the cream on her head.  Patience is not one of my virtues. lol

As you can see, the end result turned out well.  Like me, her hair shows more auburn when colored blonde, but she loves it.  In fact, we can't get her away from the mirror. heehee

And on a lighter note, or a snowier note, we have gotten probably about a foot of snow, which is a lot for NC.  It was too much for Hannah and Dad to resist.
