A Handmade Christmas in July

It is HOT outside....and I mean REALLY HOT.
So, what better subject to share today?

CHRISTMAS!!!

We'l start at The Craft Star.

What a cute little snowman.  He sits on a spring so he can nod to the rhythm of the Christmas carols.  You can find him in the shop Snowman Collector.

I found this cute and jolly Santa Claus in one of the many ways you can sell at The Craft Star, a collective.  A collective is a selection of themed items from various shops across the whole TCS.  This is from the Holiday Collective.

Here's something for the crafter in all of us, a Christmas stocking lampwork bead by DzignbyJamie.

And now I'm off to the Handmade Artists.

Now, what is Christmas without a tree?  And what is a tree without ornaments?  And this Candy Apple Red handpainted ornament is sure to become a family heirloom.  You can find it and many others at Reflections.

For your Victorian themed tree, you must have this Victorian Bell Ornament.  It looks so regal.  This is made by Dara Gallery.

That's it for me today....I need to stop the sugar plums from dancing in my head....and head to the garden and harvest some home grown goodies.

Are you ready for the Christmas season?  It will be here before you know it!

Be blessed,

my kids shopping spree

Well, our kids had an early Christmas this year...we went looking for a new gaming system.  But after talking to the salesman, and getting a headache listening to him compare memory, graphics, on-line, blah, blah, blah, we decided to just add to our Wii system, which we love.  So here is what we got for our future family nights, and for just kids play.
We got the new Cars 2 game (of course), Wii resort (great new family competition), Rio (?), and Kung Fu Panda.  We needed to get the drawing tablet for the Kung Fu Panda, and then MarioKart for racing.  I can't wait to see little Brandon try to drive a car, lol.  And then he saw this Zuzu pet.  It's the green box.  The game is still in the box, but he took off with the Zuzu pet. lol.  As we were standing in the check out line, he saw a Chuggington movie.  Great, after he gets all those Thomas trains, now he's getting into Chuggington trains, haha.  Well, now we're ready for more super hot weather when we can't go outside. Game On!

Christmas in July treasuries

It's that time of the year again. Time to start planning for........CHRISTMAS!!! As far as I'm concerned, it's never to early for Christmas. Here are some Christmas in July treasuries from some CAPSteam members. First up: naughty or nice.ChocolateDogStudio made this treasury, and I think I'm good enough for these goodies.
Next is our Cool Caps Christmas, created by PACountrycrafts and features some wonderful green and red items.
And to round out my treasury blog, I bring you these for your viewing pleasure.
