Our church vacation bible school started last night and while we don't get "hundreds" of kids, we do have fun with the ones we have...the theme this year is "Praise the King".  Our wonderful youth leaders want to get our kids out of their comfort zone, and just enjoy praising.
They were dancing to a cool song that Greg and Amanda shared...
at the end of the evening they played a game where they raced to find their own shoes....
and being the loving mother that I am...I hid one of Hannah's shoes!
BWAHAHAHAHA
We'll be going back tonight for more fun and fellowship.  Do you attend a church?  And does it host a vbs for your neighborhood children?  It's a great outreach.
Be blessed,
Debbi

VBS is always fun! I remember that shoe game from when my kids were young -- you are sneaky to hide a shoe!!

Our church had day camp a few weeks ago. I love working with the kids and pray seeds are planted that will become a great harvest.

Such a loving mother to hide the shoes! =0) Did it take her long to find them?
I haven't attended church in quite some time, and I often think that I should take my kids...

Thats funny you hid their shoes! That is something my mother would do. I don't have a religion or attend church but I do hear some kids like bible school in the summer.

lol...I love to pick on her...get that teen drama pms thing going, you know? lol
and as far as going to church...do it because you want to, not because you have to, and find one that you enjoy, or you won't want to...haha...mine is like a second family to me, loving and helpful, even with my foster kids coming and going.
