Monday Madness continues

Last week Bob was hiding with our Alien buddy.  Unfortunately, nobody found him, so our buddy is still up for adoption.  What a great gift to put in your little boys Easter basket.

This week the word is SPRING, because I am tired of winter.  Speaking of being tired of winter, don't forget that we are offering free shipping on all our scarfs.  Time to make room for our spring things.  And back to SPRING....for those who missed last Monday's blog, Our Home To Yours has started a weekly game.  Every Monday we will blog about a word, and then you have to find that word somewhere in our Etsy shop.  It could be in an item's picture or description, but it will be somewhere on a specific items page.  When you find that word, and order that item, you will get 35% off that item.  You will need to convo us at check out so we can refund the discount.  So start searching, and remember the word is SPRING.

BESTeam feature on Your Daily Jewels

After a week without a computer, I'm back in the "real world", hahaha. It's unbelievable how dependant we have become on our electronics and the world wide web. Of course, since we sell our creations on-line, being off-line is frustrating. That being said, I would like to apologize to Nora for being so late with this feature. So, heeeeere's Nora!!!!
Nora started her first shop, PJClarkJewelry on Etsy in February of 2010. Here she uses repurposed pieces that she finds, and adds new beads and chains to give them new life.
Here's 2 wonderful pieces from that shop. I picked the Amber Quartz Pendant simply because of the color, my favorite. And these 40 Thieves earrings are great. For me, the bigger, the better, lol.

Her second shop, YourDailyJewels was started in August of 2010, and already has 91 items for you to choose from. I love this purple necklace. The ruff edges just splatter light and color as you move. And these SnowQueen handmade earrings are so beautiful. Perfect anytime of the year. She is having a great sale just for this weekend, 15% off and free shipping in the United States. So now's the time to get that special piece of jewelry for that special someone, after all, Valentine's day is just around the corner. You can follow Nora on tumbler and facebook, so be sure to see for yourself the great items she has to offer.

please meet le petit reve

Selena is the creator of this great new shop on Etsy, le petit reve. Just opened in September of this year, she already had 13 sales with 100% positive feedback, and that's a good thing! As a new mother of a baby boy, Selena fills her shop with great items for your baby; salve, blankies, and toys. Here's some I found to share with you.
Here we have some "baby cheeky bum salve". It contains all natural and organic ingredients to help sooth the tender bottom, and any parts with dry itchy skin. (Made for both baby and mommy).

This is just one of several receiving and swaddling blankets offered in the shop. Completely organic knit jersey, this particular swaddler blanket looks warm and soft, and comes in a pair of 2, with several color choices.

And of course, toys. Every baby needs something to carry and cuddle, and this owl is just way cute, for your child of any age. Her name is Henrietta the hoot owl, and she is eco-friendly, and waiting for a new home.
Right now she is having some great deals on shipping during the Christmas holiday. Since she is based in Toronto Canada, we yanks can get free shipping on orders over $75.00. Selena also writes a blog, full of shopping, recipies, and everything in between. You can follow her on twitter and like her facebook fan page. Now be sure to stop by and say hello!

Saturday Blog Shopping

It's time once again for Saturday Blog Shopping, and I'm going to use this opportunity to welcom Alison to OurHomeToYours.  I first met Alison 10 years ago when we were both working for a local furniture factory.  Then after Amanda moved home, Alison became her friend too.  Alison is married to a very talented photographer named Scott, and they have 2 wonderful and smart little boys.  Alison made some curtains for her new home recently, and enjoyed sewing so much that Scott bought her a new sewing machine.  Now she is a sewing genius!   Looking at her work, it's hard to believe she is still a beginner seamstress.  Must be her natural talent.  So, in honor of Alison, this Saturday we are offering free shipping for any item made by her.  Oh, ok, free shipping story wide!  And don't forget, since this is a blog shopping day, go to Quilts, Galore, and more and check out the other blog sales.  And here's a look at Alison's work.
